Sophomores win 26-18
Great game by all the players!!
The Offensive Line gets an A+!
The Sophomore Broncos survived their first game
and came away with a hard fought victory, scoring
4 touchdowns (great job Tien Henderson) and converting 2 extra
point tries. The defense held the Tomball Redcats to
3 touchdowns and no successful conversions.
Special teams did a great job as well.
The offensive line did a great job making large holes for the
running backs to run through. Great job by Jacob Beckstead, Bobby DiTullio,
Hassan Halawe, Miles Hughes, Kyle Kalkhoff, Christian Vindiola and Chance Winters.
Get some rest the rest of the weekend and get ready
for a hard week of practice as we get ready for the Patriots.
Every week promises to get tougher as teams get
more experience and time together. This is no time to
rest on our laurels. We will continue to be the hardest
working, best conditioned team there is.
Great Job Broncos and Congratulations on a Great WIN!!

FIRST GAME!!!
Congratulations Broncos!
You survived the preseason and made it to the first game.
The coaches are very proud of you and know that you
will give us 110% every play so that you can have
a successful season.
Now, to the important information for the first game:
Where:
|
Krimmel Intermediate
|
| When: |
Arrive no later than 9:30 am.
Game Time is 10:30 am.
|
| What to Wear: |
Game Jersey, Blue Game Pants,
Orange Game Socks,
Shoulder Pads, Helmet, Cleats,
Gloves/Forearm pads, mouthpiece
|
What not to Bring:
|

|
It is very important that all players be at the field for weigh-in at 9:30 am.
If you are late, you cannot play in the first half, which can impact whether a
player is allowed to play at all due to minimum play requirements.
Please see the nutrition section and plan on eating a good breakast
about 30 to 45 minutes before you arrive at the field.
Players should also drink at least 16 ounces of water or
sports drink at least 30 minutes before arrival.
Once a player is experiencing the effects of dehydration,
it is too late to start drinking. It will be hot on the field
and proper hydration is important to success.

Nutrition and Homework Notes
We will begin full contact football practices on Monday afternoon.
As hot as it is this time of year, make sure you are drinking at least
16 oz of water before practice. Also, a snack will provide energy for
practice. Good choices are peanut butter on bread, bananas (or other
fruit) and a sports drink. No milk, please.
Also, players need to make sure they eat breakfast before Saturday
morning practices. Toast with peanut butter and fruit with a sports drink
or water are ideal. Other choices are granola or energy/protein bars.
Stay away from milk and greasy foods, like bacon or sausage.
This is a good routine to start now and continue into the season
for pre-game nutrition and hydration.
Please remember to do your conditioning at home
(sit-ups, push-ups and leg lifts). Also practice on
getting into a good stance.

Make sure you have some weight on your hand
